Settings reference: branding, notices, and limits

Everything on this page lives under Settings, then Branding & intake, and applies tenant-wide. Only DPOs can change settings.

Identity and branding

  • Display name: how your organisation is named on the intake portal, tracking page, and in every email requesters receive.
  • Accent colour and intro text: the look and the welcome copy on your intake portal.

Privacy notices

  • Regional notice URLs: separate links for UK, EU, and US requesters. The intake form's consent link follows where the requester says they live, falling back to your general notice URL, and finally to a built-in notice page so the form is never broken.

Intake

  • Enabled request types: which rights appear on your form. UK/EU rights (access, erasure, rectification, portability, restriction, objection) and US rights (know, delete, correct, opt out, limit sensitive information) can be enabled independently.

Deadlines and windows

  • Default SLA (days): the deadline for UK/EU requests, counted from verification. 1 to 365, default 30. US (California) requests always get 45 calendar days regardless of this setting.
  • Delivery availability (days): how long delivered files stay downloadable. 1 to 30, default 14.
  • Retention (days): how long closed requests are kept before automatic anonymisation. 30 to 3650, default 365. See Retention and automatic anonymisation.

Elsewhere in Settings

  • Team & roles: per-member role assignment. See Team roles and access.
  • Audit integrity: run a verification of the tamper-evident audit chain.
  • Workflow templates and Email templates: covered in their own articles under Automation & templates.
